A Great day at The Lord Mayor's Big Curry Lunch

Earlier this month our team were guests at a special event at London’s prestigious Guildhall. The Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch is held annually in support of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, and as well as successfully raising money, it’s become something of a City tradition. The Lord Mayor was host, and H.R.H. Prince Harry was Royal guest of honour, so it was quite an occasion.
It was a splendid day and an enjoyable lunch, in aid of a most worthwhile cause. We were invited because we had donated a ‘his and hers’ pair of watches to help raise funds. These were one of two prizes in the ‘cocktail bar’ draw, the other prize having been donated by Susannah Lovis, jewellers of Burlington Arcade. We’re looking forward to continuing our association with, and support for, the Soldier’s Charity in the years to come.
I’m pleased to say that the William watch is again available to order; in fact, it has been upgraded by the inclusion of a sapphire glass, which offers better scratch resistance than the previous mineral glass. This means that all Harold Pinchbeck watches are now fitted with a sapphire glass, as we seek continually to improve our offerings.
