The tenth annual Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch took place on Thursday 6th April 2017. The Lunch, in aid of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, has raised more £1.5 million since its launch in 2007 and attracts some of the leading figures in Government and the City.
This year saw HRH The Duke of York as its Guest of Honour. The Lunch was hosted by the Rt Hon The Lord Mayor, Alderman Dr Andrew Parmley, who was accompanied by Alderman and Sheriff Peter Estlin and Alderman and Sheriff William Russell.
Harold Pinchbeck was again proud to be guests and sponsors of this great event:
The event is held at Guildhall London, home to the City of London Corporation. The day starts with lots of friendly chat, drinks, and silent auctions in the Old Library, a spacious room - once filled with a collection of over 40,000 volumes and manuscripts.
At your appointed time, you make your way into the Great Hall for the Lord Mayor's Big Curry Lunch...a fantastic and very tasty traditional curry lunch.
A great day was had by all at this wonderful event, and of course, more importantly, the proceeds of the day go to a very worthwhile cause!
Harold Pinchbeck are very proud to be associated with the Lord Mayor's Big Curry Lunch, and intend to make this an annual event for our calendar!
